Special MotionPicture Association

Dear Filmmakers, Cinephiles, Partners, and International Friends!

On behalf of the Hungarian Special Motion Picture Association (MSMKE), we are proud to introduce a new, systemic chapter in inclusive cinema and international media presence.

Since its founding, our association has been dedicated to using the expressive and liberating power of the motion picture to improve the quality of life and social visibility of people with disabilities, psychiatric patients, and individuals living with addiction. Backed by nearly two decades of methodological experience, we are transcending temporary, event-based "charity projects" to establish a stable, sustainable industry standard.

In 2026, we are officially activating the internal quality assurance framework of the Inclusive Moving Image Standard (IMIS / IMSZ) IMIS is a highly specialized, proprietary methodological structure capable of integrating premium-level accessibility approaches and universal human dignity into mainstream cinema and film festival operations.

Our mission is rooted in the unshakeable principle of “Design with, not for”—nothing about us without us. We firmly believe that unique sensory perception and neurodiversity are not medical limitations, but sovereign creative and artistic assets that enrich and transform traditional cinematic language.

The ultimate goal of our festival is to weaponize the motion picture as an instrument of change, openness, and universality. Through the power of film, we aim to amplify the voices of our fellow human beings who are currently marginalized and unheard by the current social environment. Here, film is not merely art—it is the ultimate tool for the self-expression of human dignity.
